PARAWORLD is a realtime strategy game that brings the player into a wild archaic
world with gigantic dinosaurs.
It was developed by the German game development studio
SEK
and published by
SUNFLOWERS
in September 2006.
The edition 10/2006 of the German magazine
GameStar
awarded two commendations:
-
The GOLD-AWARD for an excellent computer game, it got 87 of possibly 100 points.
-
The AWARD "für besondere Atmosphäre" that shall denote the exceptional atmosphere of the strategy game.
Gunnar Lott,
the chief editor of the
GameStar
magazine, wrote:
"... I realize that the developers did their work by paying much attention to the details.
First of all the dinosaur drama is brilliant in the user interface and in the many new innovations.
And in the multiplayer mode, that it is not a simple bonus.
Just this part should encourage everyone to buy the game."
Heiko Klinge,
one of the
GameStar's
editors, wrote:
"The game is a strategic adventure for the heart."
And
Gunnar Lott
already wrote in the edition 09/2006 of the
GameStar
magazine:
"...
I just play the beta version and enjoy it to the full.
The management of the troops works so well, that I can't imagine to get accustomed to a
game without an army controller again."
